Hi, I'm Dr. Abby Maidlow.
Welcome to Belleville Lake Pediatrics. I'm so excited to meet you and your family.
I started Belleville Lake Pediatrics because I believe great pediatric care takes time. Time to answer questions, provide guidance, and really get to know the children and families I care for. I want to build open, trusting relationships with families and be a pediatrician you can count on as your child grows.
I love this community that I also call home, and I'm honored to care for its families while providing thoughtful, thorough, evidence-based medicine every step of the way. I can't wait to welcome your family to our little practice by the lake.
Every age
Care that grows with your child.
The same pediatrician from the first weigh-in to the last physical before college.
The first days
A first visit within 24 to 72 hours of coming home. Weight, jaundice, feeding, safe sleep, and honest answers about how little anyone sleeps.
Learning everything
Well-child visits on the full schedule, immunizations, milestones, feeding battles, and the ear infections that arrive at 2am.
Off into the world
Sports and camp physicals, the paperwork school asks for, asthma action plans, and the worries that start showing up at the dinner table.
Becoming their own person
Confidential visits, mental health, acne, and a real plan for moving on to adult care rather than just aging out at 21.
What we do
Care for every stage, from first breath to first apartment.
Newborn & infant care
First visits within 24 to 72 hours of coming home from the hospital, weight and jaundice checks, feeding support, safe sleep, and the reflux or colic that is wearing everyone out.

I am your neighbor on the lake.
I live here. You will spot me running through downtown, out on the lake on a summer weekend, or in line at Frost Boys like everybody else.
Around town
Lake Fest, the Monday night Egan's car show, and the farmers market. If it is happening in Belleville, I am probably there.
Where we refer
University of Michigan, Corewell Health, Trinity Health, Henry Ford Health System, and Children's Hospital of Michigan.

Food, utilities, early intervention, and family support. We keep a list of local resources and we will help you use it.
